Updated version. I don't know what the hell I'm doing with the colors this time--I'm just using whatever looks good.

The background is based on a tarot card called the Wheel of Fortune. It also happens to be the card Near is holding. He's making fun of her by holding it up. How is that making fun of her? She is a "profoundly unlucky person".

Charlotte's shirt is based on this one: [link] so credit goes to this place: [link] . I just swapped colors to fit Charlotte better.

Why are Near's PJs gray? See the back of volume 9 for my reasoning. Also, gray looks better than white would have.

Why is Near's hair the way it was when he first appeared rather than the way it was at the end of Death Note? Doesn't this story take place right after that? Well, it does, but he's harder to draw that way. I also realize that his hair was way longer in the one shot. Let's just say that he got a haircut right after the Kira investigation and decided that it was a pain in the butt so it was better not to get anymore haircuts. Anything to worm my way out of this.
