King Henry VIII by Zerohope2survive King Henry VIII by Zerohope2survive
For my World History class, I had to make a sign for the protestant reformation which would be specific to one particular reformer. I only picked Henry VIII because I wanted to draw the epic clothes. The slogan thinger sucks, I know, but I don't really care.

I'm beginning to really like drawing these little cartoon-ish characters.

Yeah, I know how that is. But that doesn't really soften the blow of the shock.

I always loved this wiki: [link]

Did you read the original, Tolkien's revised edition or one of the later reprints? If it was one of the post-death reprints, you've been cheated of a good book. Houghton-Mifflin's Tolkien editor is a really stupid lady. I've read the reprints and Tolkien's revised editions and there is a surprising number of differences. For one, the reprints have fewer spelling errors (that's the good part), but the sentence structures were altered in some places (bad part) which is utter crap because LotR was a work of genius as it was!

On a less rant-y note, have you also read the silmarillion?

I have read the Silmarillion. It was a bit like a rip-off of the Bible; clearly by then, Tolkien had slipped into George Lucas territory and was completely insane... not that it was a bad book, but that the fans read it and said "Okay, J.R.R. Now go away."

Well, from what I hear it was purely written to explain the origins of all the languages (though I don't see how that worked out exactly). I try to ignore the existence of the Silmarillion, especially the parts written by Christopher Tolkien.
